“Homage to Frank Dudley”

Peg Luecke has been drawing since she could hold a crayon, which she recalls using to create a mural alongside her crib, much to her mother’s chagrin.

“I prefer the medium of soft pastel for its luminosity, layering properties, control and portability. My background as a graphic designer affords me tools to evaluate and adjust my reference photos for composition and value. I am interested in the that quality of light–particularly early and late–that infuses our everyday surroundings.”
