About Us

Formed in the summer of 2006, the Northern Indiana Pastel Society welcomes artists from Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois.

Our purpose is to stimulate interest in pastels as an art medium and to encourage and support members in their artistic and professional growth. Members seek to form alliances, share information and enjoy camaraderie.

Meetings are held in February, April, June, August and October. A holiday gathering is held in December.

Meetings include committee reports, old and new business and a program. The programs include guest speakers, slide shows and demonstrations. Members are encouraged to bring pastel paintings to display at meetings.

The group also hosts workshops and exhibits. An email newsletter is published before each meeting.

Dues of $25 can be paid by sending a check payable to Northern Indiana Pastel Society in care of treasurer Susie Piper, 50605 Canyon Lane, Granger IN 46530.
Membership renewals are due in March of each year.
